What is goat beetal?

Goat Beetal is a domestic breed of goat that originated from the Punjab region of India and Pakistan. They are mainly kept for their milk, meat, and skin. The goat got its name from their original habitat (Beetal hills). Beetal goats have long ears, a broad forehead, and a small sharply pointed beard. They are typically red, brown, or black, and produce an average of 2-3 liters of milk per day, with a 6-7% butterfat content. Goat Beetal's body weight ranges from 30-50 kg for female goats and 40-60 kg for males. They have a friendly disposition and are easy to manage making them a popular choice among goat farmers. Due to their high milk production and good meat quality, they are highly demanded by farmers and buyers.
